I minored in philosophy and studied Mediterranean history at Portland State University. My accomplishments include giving birth multiple times, surviving an attack by a vicious cat that looked remarkably like a panda, and walking while chewing gum.

I've been married for six years and have two boys. My youngest suffers from Sensory Integration Dysfunction and Proprioception Dysfunction and  requires most of my attention throughout the day.

My passion in life has always been writing and I'm hoping that this will be the outlet that I so desperately need in between the behavioral therapy sessions for my son.

I want to focus my articles on applied philosophy with historical context specifically from a parenting perspective.
